Punta Cana Resort and Club Activities

On one side is the cerulean Caribbean, on the other, the emerald fairways of P.B. Dye’s magnificent golf course. Fourteen holes feature breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, and four play along the ocean itself. And in true Dye form, P.B. has crafted each hole to present its own unique challenge: sometimes infuriating, always memorable. A Tom Fazio designed course will add an additional 18 holes sometime in 2005.

For those who prefer less punishing activities, there is a pure white sand beach that stretches endlessly - or at least 3 miles - and edges the entire resort.

Tennis is played on six lighted caliche courts (similar to Har-Tru surface courts). The area is secluded with Nature Villas, and these are set among bricked paths with flora and fauna edges that grace the walkways.

Swim and fish in crystal waters, snorkel over coral reefs teeming with tropical fish, and walk the trails of our lush nature reserve, confident that each of these marvelous gifts of nature will be protected for today and tomorrow.

Caribbean dining has never been more varied or enticing, with a choice of eight restaurants. A special touch is incorporated in these unique dining venues, but attention must be paid to the organically grown native fruits, vegetables and herbs grown from our own gardens.

Breathtaking pathways meander along ancient lagoons at the Nature Reserve. You will be escorted by butterflies along trails that have been unchanged since the island was first discovered, and lovingly preserved by Punta Cana Resort, who holds the key to preserving this land as part of its 15,000 acre property.
